Vermont Wedding Facility Fee
A facility fee is charged which includes our large awning coverage on the upper terrace, cocktail tables and chairs in this area, linens and china and use of the Inn's public rooms and grounds. Anything used on the lower terrace, chairs for the ceremony, tent, tables, dishes, etc. is a rental arranged by the Wilburton Inn. In the peak wedding season, this facility fee for Holidays and Saturday evenings is $3,500 for over 85 guests and $2000 for fewer than 85 guests. Saturday afternoons are $2,000 and Friday and Sunday afternoons or evening are $2,500. Friday rehearsal dinners are $500 for the terrace and $300 per dining room. Before May 18th and after October 21, the indoor facility fee is $1,500 for the private use of the Inn. Large tent events may require a charge for extra staff. A non-refundable check deposit equal to the facility fee is required to reserve a date.
Food & Bar EstimatesDuring the cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres are passed and also presented as platters or stations. Entrees are served as a modified buffet dinner or grazing dinner with several food stations. Plated dinners are also optional with up to three entree choices. Menus usually range from $70.00 - $100.00-additional charges may apply with raw bar or special selections. All menus are developed and customized with the bridal couple. The bar is priced by actual consumption. You may select an open bar, limited bar, cash bar or a combined cash and consumption bar. Our open bar(brands chosen by the Wilburton Inn) at 4 hours equals about $36.00 per person plus tax and gratuities. An evening wedding with music requires the rental of the 11 guest rooms in the mansion. 24 additional guest rooms including the 5-bedroom Curry Reunion house are also available. There is a two-night minimum stay, three nights during holiday periods. Morning and afternoon events do not require lodging. Wedding rates are preferred rates. Rates include our complete country breakfast. Wedding rates range from $145-$240 per night, plus tax and gratuity. All April, lodging is two nights for one. Wedding rates Foliage season range from $180-$325, September 26th through October 17th, 2007-8 The Night Before & the Night AfterThe Wilburton Inn is available for formal rehearsal dinners and casual barbecues, the facility fee is $500 and up depending on size and date. We also host post-wedding brunches. There is no additional facility fee for rehearsal dinners or brunches if your wedding is booked at the Wilburton Inn.
